Ms. Sarita Jena completed her MSc in Physics from NIT Meghalaya. She joined NIT Silchar as a part of a DST-SERB sponsored project here at  SMaRT Lab in April 2023. Her current research interest lies in solar photocatalytic assisted Hydrogen Production and reactor design. 

Mr. Mathan Kumar P completed his Post Gaduation degree in Physics from Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi, Tamilnadu. He completed his post graduate project, under Mr. P. Rajaguru, on the topic “Fabrication of Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC) using ZnO nanoparticles”. Thereafter he joined SMaRT lab as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and started working in an Inter University Acceleration Centre(IUAC), New Delhi sponsored project since January 2016 and registered for PhD in August 2016. His current research is on fabricating efficient Titania photoanode using RF sputtering for DSSC and study the impact of ion implantation. During the project he has been trained in low energy and swift high ion implantation and irradiation techniques at IUAC. 

Mr. N. Marimuthu completed his Post Graduation degree in Physics in Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi, Tamilnadu. He completed his post graduate project, under Mrs. L. Suganya on the topic “Synthesis and Characterization of Cadmium Sulphide Nanoparticles”. Later he joined SMaRT lab as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-SERB sponsored project in May 2017 and registered for PhD in July 2017 at NIT Silchar. His current research is on synthesising semiconductor quantum dots and photoanode to fabricate an efficient Quantum Dot Sensitized Solar Cell (QDSSC)
