Ms. Nisha Banerjee completed her M.Sc in Applied physics and ballistic from Fakir Mohan University, Odisha in 2019. She joined the lab in August 2020 as a regular Ph.D scholar. Her current research interest is in the field of Perovskite nanomaterial for solar energy applications. 

Mr. Ajoy Kumar Dey is an Assistant Professor at Biswanath College, Assam and completed his M.Sc in Physics from Gauhati University, Assam in 1996. He joined the lab in January 2021 as a Part-time Ph.D scholar. His current research interest is in the field of Semiconductor Photocatalysis for solar energy applications. 

Ms. Sarita Jena completed her MSc in Physics from NIT Meghalaya. She joined NIT Silchar as a part of a DST-SERB sponsored project here at  SMaRT Lab in April 2023. She subsequently joined as a Ph.D. scholar in the lab in July 2023. Her current research interest lies in solar photocatalytic assisted Hydrogen Production and reactor design. 

Mr.  Bibek Ranjan Mangaraj completed his M.Sc  in Physics from SOA University, Bhubaneswar,Odisha in 2020. He joined the lab in 2023 as a regular Ph.D. Scholar. His current research interest is in the field  of mesoporous metal oxide for photocatalytic and photovoltaic applications.

Ms.  Priya Verma completed her M.Sc  in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi in 2020. She joined the lab in 2024 as a regular Ph.D. Scholar. Her current research interest is in the field  of green hydrogen generation using Photocatalysis and Photoelectrochemical Techniques.
