Mr. Nikhil S.K completed his M.Sc Physics  from Taliparamba Arts and Science College, Kannur University, Kerala. Prior to joining the group he had worked as guest lecturer in physics. Mr. Nikhil S.K joined the NIT Silchar as a part of IUAC sponsored project in the year 2018 and registered for Ph.D later on. Presently his work concerns the synthesis and tuning of doped-mixed phase TiO2 for photocatalytic and photovoltaic applications.

Ms. Trinayana Deka has joined as Ph.D. scholar in the lab at 2019. She has completed her M.Sc. in Applied Physics from NIT Silchar in the year 2017. Her current research interest is in sensitized metal oxide semiconductor photocatalysts for Solar Photocatalytic applications. She is also working as Research Assistant in Central XRD facility, NIT Silchar since 2018.

Ms. Pujita Ningthoukhongjam completed her M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Delhi in 2017. She joined NIT Silchar as a part of a DST-SERB sponsored project here at SMaRT Lab in October 2018. She subsequently joined as a Ph.D. scholar in the lab in July 2019. Her current research interest lies in solar photovoltaics and photocatalysis. Her current research is focused on mixed phase TiO2 Heterojunctions for photocatalytic and photovoltaic applications.

Mr. Soumik Chakraborty completed his M.Tech  in Electronics Design and Technology from Tezpur University, Assam in 2018 and done his B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Agartala  in 2015. He joined the lab in 2019 as a regular Ph.D. Scholar. His current research is in the field  of modelling of Dye Sensitized Solar cells (DSSCs).

Ms. Suma Das completed her MSc. from NIT Silchar in 2017. She joined as a PhD scholar at NIT Silchar in the year 2019 under the supervision of Dr. Avijit Chowdhury. Subsequently, she joined SMaRT lab in 2021. Her research interest is in nanomaterials and photocatalysis. She is currently working on synthesis and tuning of bandgaps of nanomaterials for photocatalytic applications.

Ms. Nisha Banerjee completed her Msc in Applied physics and ballistic from Fakir Mohan University, Odisha in 2019. She joined the lab in August 2020 as a regular phd scholar. Her current research interest is in the field of Perovskite nanomaterial for solar energy applications.

Ms. Sarita Jena completed her MSc in Physics from NIT Meghalaya. She joined NIT Silchar as a part of a DST-SERB sponsored project here at  SMaRT Lab in April 2023. She subsequently joined as a Ph.D. scholar in the lab in July 2023. Her current research interest lies in solar photocatalytic assisted Hydrogen Production and reactor design.

Mr.  Bibek Ranjan Mangaraj completed his M.Sc  in Physics from SOA University, Bhubaneswar,Odisha in 2020. He joined the lab in 2023 as a regular Ph.D. Scholar. His current research interest is in the field  of mesoporous metal oxide for photocatalytic and photovoltaic applications.
